How much do counselling sessions and courses cost?
As a not-for-profit community organisation, Relationships Australia is committed to providing an affordable service to all of our clients. Some programs (such as our counselling service) are only partially funded by State, Territory and Australian Governments and fees are normally charged.
Our fees vary slightly across different states and territories and are either a fixed rate, or else determined on a sliding scale based on gross household income and number of dependents. We have a surcharge on most after-hours appointments. Our staff will inform you about the costs involved and any after-hours surcharges when you call for an appointment.
When courses are advertised on State and Territory websites, the cost is usually given.
Again depending on the funding sources, some Relationships Australia services are free of charge. You need to discuss this with your local Relationships Australia office.
To find out more about our counselling services or to make an appointment, contact the Relationships Australia in your state or territory.
