Family Dispute Resolution (Mediation)
The Family Dispute Resolution Service (formerly known as the Family Mediation Service) includes education, information, counselling, dispute resolution, conciliation and group work to help couples who are separating to resolve their family law disputes. These disputes may include conflicts over child care, child support, financial arrangements and property settlement.

Family Dispute Resolution endeavours to help separating couples reach agreements that are in the best interest of their children. It also encourages separating couples to parent cooperatively. Parenting Plans (pdf) or agreements are used to assist in this process.
