Relationships Australia to deliver elder abuse service trials

Relationships Australia has been successful in tendering for grants to conduct four elder abuse case management and mediation service trials across Australia.

The trial services will be conducted by Relationships Australia Queensland, Relationships Australia Northern Territory, Relationships Australia Canberra and Region and Relationships Australia Western Australia and are being funded under the Federal Government’s National Plan to Respond to the Abuse of Older Australians.

Relationships Australia ran its first elder relationship services pilot in 2016. This trial was conceived in response to a service gap for alternative dispute resolution services for older people and their families.
